The main subjects are mathematics, English and Nepali. In addition, the children are taught computer science, physical education, dance, singing and handicrafts. After 10 school years the children take the SLC (School Leaving Certificate). This state examination is known as the “Iron Gate”, as the result of this examination is decisive for the further education of the young people.
